Adichunchanagiri Mutt’s Satkeerthanath Swamiji urged students to honour their parents and teachers while praising a display of student achievement at a school event in Nagamangala, Karnataka. Speaking at BGS Model Public School in B.G. Nagar on Saturday, he described those who respect parents and gurus as exemplary citizens and encouraged pupils to pursue truth and hard work.

“When children practise curricular, co-curricular and artistic skills every day, they advance academically and personally,” he said. He noted that the exhibition reflected the growth of students’ capabilities and the supportive atmosphere cultivated by the school.
Local author N. S. Nagesh, who also addressed the gathering, described the school as resembling a heaven because of the quality of the students’ displays.
