Edostavka updates holiday delivery schedule for Belarus residents

Key Takeaways:

  • Edostavka adjusted its holiday hours across Minsk and surrounding zones; additional night slots added on 29–30 December.
  • On 31 December deliveries in Minsk and Minsk district will run until 19:00; other zones until 17:00.
  • Delivery resumes in parts of Minsk from 1 January at 16:00; many outlying zones will not have service until 2 January.
  • Customers should note the Edostavka delivery schedule and consider shopping earlier or arranging collection.

A popular Belarusian grocery delivery service, Edostavka, has adjusted its holiday timetable, prompting some customers to report that only paid delivery slots were available on the run up to New Year’s Eve. One user posted that standard free delivery windows were closed while paid options remained open, and that the single available free slot for the following evening appeared in the app as unavailable.

Edostavka delivery schedule

Edostavka published advance notices about temporary changes to its operating hours for the end of December and the start of January. The company added extra night-time ranges for Minsk on 29 and 30 December, with last deliveries possible until 02:00, in response to increased demand before the holidays.

For customers in the Minsk district, Minsk region and other service zones, Edostavka said it would maintain its normal delivery rhythm on those dates. However, the schedule on 31 December is more restrictive: couriers will operate in Minsk and the Minsk district until 19:00, while deliveries to the wider Minsk region and other service areas will finish at 17:00.

Service availability on 1 January is partial. Edostavka plans to resume deliveries from 16:00 in Minsk and the Minsk district, but will not provide deliveries to the Minsk region and several outlying zones that day. The company expects to return to its usual timetable from 2 January.

Users responding to the original social media complaint noted that New Year’s Eve traditionally brings intense demand for groceries and last-minute orders. Some suggested that shoppers should plan their purchases earlier to avoid paid slots or missed deliveries. Others made light of the situation, joking about the predictable surge in paid delivery options during holiday periods.

For residents relying on home delivery in the closing hours of 2025, the adjustments mean a few practical steps are advisable. First, check the Edostavka app for updated slot availability and any announcements specific to your address. Second, consider placing orders earlier in the day on 31 December or arranging collection from a store if delivery windows are full. Third, if you can wait, note that service largely returns to normal from 2 January.

The company’s targeted changes are aimed at balancing courier capacity and customer demand during a brief, high-volume period. While some customers have interpreted the limited free slots as a move to monetise holiday convenience, the posted schedule shows a mixed approach: increased late-night coverage in Minsk ahead of the holiday and earlier cut-offs on the final day of the year in many zones.

In short, those planning New Year’s meals in Belarus should consult the Edostavka delivery schedule, consider alternatives if needed, and be prepared for reduced coverage in certain areas on 31 December and 1 January.
