The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) will publish a Gazette notification on 30 December 2025 announcing 56 vacancies across multiple departments. Applicants may submit online applications until midnight on 4 February 2026. Full details and application procedures will be available on the Thozhilveedhi employment portal on 5 January.

Kerala PSC vacancies and key dates

The notification covers a mix of state and district level posts, special recruitment and NCA (non‑creamy layer) reservations for specific communities. Candidates should note the Gazette date of 30 December 2025 and the application closing date of 4 February 2026. The PSC has scheduled the formal notification for publication in its December 30 and December 31 gazettes as part of a busy month that already saw around 200 notifications.

Main vacancies announced

State level vacancies include positions in the BVRC Corporation for LDC clerk and other clerk roles, Legal Metrology Inspector, Fisheries Fed Manager (IT), Assistant Manager (IT), Hospital Superintendent at the Pharmaceuticals Corporation and various teaching and technical posts across departments. District level notifications list LDC typist vacancies in many districts alongside posts such as HST teachers in subject transfers, auxiliary nurse midwife posts in Palakkad and Kannur, pharmacists in the homeopathy wing and a range of technical and local government roles.

Reservations and special recruitment

The PSC notification will include special recruitment drives for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other reserved categories. NCA notifications cover posts such as lecturers in music colleges (mrdangam for the Muslim community), junior HSS teachers in Urdu and Arabic, mine mate positions, women police constables and several cooperative bank posts reserved for specific social groups. District level NCA listings include a wide range of teacher and clerical vacancies targeted at identified communities.

LDC and LDC typist rank lists and appointments

Kerala PSC has been processing rank lists and recommendations for LDC and LDC typist vacancies for some time. Rank lists that became effective between 18 April and 24 May 2024 are scheduled for cancellation between 17 April and 23 May 2027. To date, 758 candidates have received appointment recommendations across districts for LDC typist positions, with Thiruvananthapuram accounting for the highest number at 112 and Kasaragod the fewest at 25.

The previous BVRC LDC notification was issued four years ago, with its rank list finalised on 6 February 2024. That list has yielded 249 appointment recommendations so far. The current recruitment status by community shows appointments and supplementary slots across merit, reservation categories and community quotas.

How to apply and where to find details

Prospective applicants should visit the Thozhilveedhi employment page on 5 January for full notification text, eligibility criteria, application instructions and fee details. Candidates must ensure they meet specific age, educational and community reservation criteria listed in the official notification before applying. All applications must be submitted online by 23:59 on 4 February 2026.

The PSC has indicated that the next commission meeting will consider more than 50 additional vacancies. Jobseekers are advised to monitor official PSC channels and authorised job portals for updates and to download the mobile app of the publishing house for instant alerts.
