Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar opened 2026 on a robust note as the Hindi spy thriller continued an exceptional run at the box office, posting an estimated Rs 106.5 crore in its fourth week. Trade trackers say the strong New Year weekend gave the film fresh momentum, helping it register an impressive Day 28 performance and further consolidate its commercial dominance.

Dhurandhar box office

Early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk suggest Dhurandhar earned about Rs 15.75 crore India net on Day 28. That addition takes the film’s India net tally to an estimated Rs 739 crore and its India gross to roughly Rs 886.75 crore. Overseas receipts are also reported to be substantial at an estimated Rs 250 crore, bringing the worldwide total to approximately Rs 1,136.75 crore.

The film’s week-by-week trajectory has been notable. It opened with a staggering Week 1 haul of around Rs 207.25 crore, surged in Week 2 to an estimated Rs 253.25 crore, and eased to about Rs 172 crore in Week 3. The New Year holiday lift pushed Week 4 to its record Rs 106.5 crore—figures that, if confirmed, would represent the highest fourth-week collection in Bollywood history.

Analysts highlight that sustained double-digit daily collections over an extended stretch have been central to the film’s longevity. Such endurance at the box office has become rarer as release calendars grow more crowded and daily footfalls fluctuate; Dhurandhar’s continued performance therefore stands out as both a commercial and distribution success.

Domestically, the film’s cumulative numbers place it among India’s top earners. According to the figures being circulated in trade circles, Dhurandhar now ranks in the top five highest-earning Indian films on the India gross chart. The makers and distributors are monitoring the film’s trajectory closely as it eyes further milestones in its fifth week.

On the day Dhurandhar marked its fourth-week gains, new release Ikkis opened in theatres. The war drama drew an estimated Rs 7 crore on its first day, substantially less than Dhurandhar’s Day 28 intake. Industry observers note that the holiday boost and continued audience interest helped the older release outperform the newcomer in overall collections during the same period.

International markets have also remained receptive. The estimated Rs 250 crore overseas contribution helped push the worldwide tally past the Rs 1,100 crore mark, reinforcing the film’s appeal beyond India. The combination of a star-driven domestic run and overseas receipts has underpinned the film’s ascent into the upper echelons of India’s box-office history.

Looking ahead, trade analysts say much will depend on weekday holds and the release slate. If Dhurandhar maintains its current pace, it could present a challenge to existing Week 5 records. However, analysts caution that figures are provisional until final consolidated numbers are released by distributors and box-office aggregators.

The film’s performance will be watched closely by studios and exhibitors as a case study in managing long-tail box-office runs during peak holiday windows and in planning release strategies for high-profile Hindi films in 2026.

Key Takeaways:

  • Dhurandhar box office posts an estimated Rs 106.5 crore in Week 4, a record fourth-week haul for a Bollywood film.
  • Day 28 contributed roughly Rs 15.75 crore India net, taking the India net to about Rs 739 crore.
  • The film has earned an estimated Rs 250 crore overseas, lifting the worldwide total to around Rs 1,136.75 crore.
  • Strong New Year footfall helped Dhurandhar outperform new release Ikkis and could propel further record attempts in Week 5.
