The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has published an official notification for the recruitment of 714 Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts, offering a direct opportunity for candidates who have completed their 10th standard. Applications open on 17 December 2025 and the window will remain available until 15 January 2026. The advertisement is listed as No. 07/2025.

DSSSB MTS recruitment 2025 – key dates and how to apply

Prospective applicants must register and apply online via the DSSSB portal at dsssbonline.nic.in. Candidates should complete a one-time registration (OTR), fill the application form, upload a recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature, and pay the application fee where applicable. The board has specified the application period clearly: the process begins on 17 December 2025 and closes on 15 January 2026.

Eligibility and age criteria

To be eligible candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognised board. No additional degree or prior experience is required for these posts. Minimum age is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years as on the prescribed cut-off date. Relaxations in upper age limit will apply for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD candidates and ex-servicemen as per government norms. Women candidates are also eligible for age relaxation under the rules.

Selection process and examination pattern

The selection will be made through a written objective-type examination (MCQ). The question paper will be set at a level corresponding to the 10th standard. There is no provision for an interview; selection is provisional on the basis of the written paper and subject to document verification. After the exam, the board will publish answer keys and shortlist candidates for document checks. The final appointment will follow verification of eligibility documents.

Application fee and reservation

General, OBC and EWS candidates must pay an application fee of ₹100. Women applicants, SC, ST, PwBD candidates and ex-servicemen are exempt from the fee. Fees must be paid online where applicable. Candidates are advised to keep transaction receipts and confirmation pages safe for future reference.

Pay scale and service details

The starting pay for MTS posts is expected in the range of ₹18,000 to ₹22,000 per month (approximate), which includes basic pay and statutory allowances such as DA, HRA and transport allowance. Salaries will rise with length of service and as per the applicable pay matrix and government rules.

Applicants should prepare by reviewing the 10th standard syllabus and practising objective-type questions. Keep original documents ready for verification including Aadhaar, 10th class certificate and valid identity proof. For full details, the official DSSSB notification and the online portal provide the authoritative instructions and format.

For those seeking a state government job with minimal educational requirement, this DSSSB MTS recruitment 2025 offers a timely avenue. Interested candidates should complete their application well before the closing date and follow the official instructions to avoid disqualification.
