The Government Toolroom and Training Centre (GTTC) in Dadegal, Koppal district, has invited applications for temporary guest lecturer posts, offering local jobseekers an opportunity to teach and contribute to vocational training in the region. Candidates may apply in person at the GTTC office or submit their biodata by email by 12 January.

Koppal guest lecturer jobs and how to apply

The vacancies cover the D.T.D.M, D.M.C.H and Electronics & Communication (E&C) divisions at the state-run centre. Appointments are on a temporary basis and are intended to strengthen practical training capacity in mechanical, electrical and electronics disciplines. Interested candidates should ensure they meet the specified academic requirements before applying.

Qualification criteria include a first-class degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering for relevant posts, a B.E. with a Diploma in Tool and Die Making oriented for D.T.D.M roles, and degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates for Electronics & Communication posts and positions in the science division should hold postgraduate qualifications.

Applicants may submit their completed applications at the GTTC Koppal office or email their biodata to [email protected]. For enquiries, applicants may contact Mounesh, Head of Department at the Government Toolroom and Training Centre, Dadegal, Koppal, on 75070 94445. The centre is located on Gadag Road, Dadegal.

This recruitment drive aligns with local efforts to boost employability and maintain a pipeline of skilled instructors for hands-on technical education. Temporary guest lecturers play a vital role in bridging gaps between classroom theory and workshop practice, especially in vocational training institutions that support industry-relevant skills.

Complementary free training for women in Haliyal

Separately, the Canara Bank Deshpande RSETI in Haliyal has opened applications for short-term, free training aimed at unemployed rural women aged 18 to 50. The programme, scheduled from 19 to 31 January, will provide training in hand embroidery and fabric painting. Participants will receive meals and accommodation at no cost, with priority given to those from rural areas and to early applicants.

The training includes practical skill development and supporting modules on soft skills, basic yoga, and guidance on government schemes and loan processes to help trainees start small businesses. The RSETI will also advise on project report preparation and procedures for obtaining bank finance to support self-employment ventures.

Interested women may register by sending their name and address via WhatsApp to 94834 85489 or by completing the online form at https://forms.gle/KgvX5fHzQ4Zp3bui7. For further details prospective trainees can contact the Haliyal RSETI office on 97424 38790 or 94834 85489.

Both initiatives aim to expand access to vocational education and promote local entrepreneurship. The GTTC recruitment should strengthen teaching resources for technical courses in Koppal, while the RSETI training seeks to empower unemployed women with practical skills and access to credit support for small enterprises.

Key Takeaways:

  • Koppal guest lecturer jobs announced at the Government Toolroom and Training Centre (GTTC) with applications open until 12 January.
  • Temporary vacancies available in D.T.D.M, D.M.C.H and E&C departments; specific engineering and postgraduate qualifications required.
  • Apply in person at GTTC Koppal or send biodata by email; contact details provided for further enquiries.
  • Separate free training programmes in Haliyal offer women practical skills, soft skills and start-up support.
