Pobeda Offers One-Ruble Flights to Festive Travellers Across Russia

Russian low-cost carrier Pobeda has launched a short seasonal promotion that allows passengers to travel across Russia for just one ruble, provided they meet a simple and festive condition. The offer is valid on selected domestic flights departing between 31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026 and requires travellers to present themselves at check-in dressed as Ded Moroz or Snegurochka.

The mechanics are straightforward. Those who wish to take part should arrive at the airline’s check-in desk in a full costume before check-in opens for the chosen flight. They must inform the staff of their desire to fly for one ruble and wait until registration closes. If any seats remain unfilled after ordinary passengers have checked in, the remaining seats may be allocated to qualifying participants at the promotional fare.

Pobeda confirmed the campaign as part of a festive initiative intended to add a touch of holiday cheer for travellers while helping the carrier fill last-minute empty seats. The promotion applies to domestic routes and is subject to seat availability and the airline’s standard boarding and travel regulations. Passengers should be prepared to comply with normal identity checks and carry appropriate travel documents for domestic flights.

Travel experts say such promotions serve several purposes. They can increase brand visibility, generate social media interest and reduce the number of unsold seats on routes during a busy holiday period. For passengers, the chance to secure an almost free ticket can be attractive, although it comes with uncertainty since allocation is dependent on remaining seat inventory after standard check-in completes.

Pobeda one-ruble flights

Those planning to try their luck should note practical considerations. Arrive early, have a complete and recognisable costume, and allow extra time for check-in queues that may form around the promotion. Travellers should also consider baggage rules, boarding priorities and any COVID-related travel advisories that may apply at the time. Pobeda recommends checking the airline’s official communications and the departure airport’s guidance before travelling.

The promotion was reported at Pulkovo Airport, Saint Petersburg’s main air hub, where participating passengers will be able to attempt registration under the same conditions. While the opportunity may be most appealing to locals and visitors already in the city over the New Year period, it also presents a light-hearted option for those willing to dress the part and travel on short notice.

Despite its playful premise, the offer is bound by airline procedure. If the flight is full at the close of check-in, no additional discounted seats will be issued. Conversely, when seats remain, eligible passengers may secure a ticket at the promotional rate. The campaign combines the seasonal spirit with a consumable incentive that has already begun to attract attention on social platforms.

For passengers considering the promotion, the practical takeaway is clear: prepare early, follow airline instructions and be aware that the fare is highly conditional. For Pobeda, the one-ruble initiative is a cost-effective way to enliven the holiday travel period, reduce empty-seat waste and encourage cheerful engagement with customers during one of Russia’s busiest travel windows.

Key Takeaways:

  • Pobeda is offering one-ruble flights on select domestic routes between 31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026.
  • Passengers who arrive at check-in in full Ded Moroz or Snegurochka costume may be eligible for the fare if seats remain available.
  • The promotion is limited to registrations at Pulkovo and other checked-in flights, and successful applicants receive tickets only after registration closes.
  • Pobeda one-ruble flights present a low-cost, festive travel opportunity for last-minute travellers across Russia.
